Ensure all sides are heard before decisions are rendered — criminal, civil, and domestic relations
Maintain calm, impartial demeanor in the courtroom for all parties, attorneys, and jurors
Continuously pursue continuing legal education through the Ohio Supreme Court's Judicial College

Community Service

Serving Ashtabula County beyond the bench — through leadership, innovation, and connection.

Maintain accessible and responsive judicial administration for all Ashtabula County residents
Work with community stakeholders and other branches of government for the benefit of all citizens
Support legal education for young people through internships, job shadowing, and speaking engagements
Strong record of community leadership, including service as president of the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board and involvement in local civic organizations
